It’s official, we should all be wearing Shadow.
In our latest drop of New Zealand-designed 10 Pieces, we're obsessed with all shades of greys and blacks. Creative Director Vicki Taylor says shadow was the one that stuck out to her, “I’m always looking for shades which fit seamlessly into our existing colour-ways, and compliment taylor’s everyday staples. Shadow worked so well with our staple colours, but also paired nicely with Halite - giving you a new way to update past season styles.”
This season we’re adding different shades to our wardrobe to add dimension and give new life to past-season colourways. Shadow compliments a range of colours and is becoming a must-have building block in the taylor wardrobe. There’s no need to stray from a deep colour palette. A mix between the two most famous neutrals, Shadow is the perfect layering piece to freshen up our existing staples.
Vicki’s Styling Tips:
- If you’re looking for a sharp look, play with darker colours. Pairing Shadow and Black against each other has a surprising balance.
- For a fresh look, mix dark and light tones together. Utilising a white canvas will make Shadow pop, giving understated dimension to an outfit.
- Layer, layer, layer. Our classic extension tank is back in Shadow! The extension tank is the best tool for breaking up blocks of one shade. For those not too sure about introducing a different colourway into their wardrobe, start from the base up.
